Beautiful 3 Cards Using Basic Stencilling Technique

Namaste Crafty Folks,

Today, I am sharing 3 cards using single stencil but different techniques for backgrounds. I love to stretch my supplies and create different looking cards using the same supplies. Isn’t that an amazing way to get more and challenge the creativity. So today I have 3 backgrounds that i created using a same stencil called Craftangles Flower Cluster.

But before, proceeding further, take a look below for the details of our monthly challenge.

Monthly Challenge - May 2022

First Card

3 cards

For my first card i started with a panel measuring 4.25×5.5 inches Craftangles Black Cardstock and affixed the Flower Cluster Stencil by Craftangles using a low tack tape. I then stenciled it using the White Pigment Ink. After the whole panel was stenciled, I shifted the stencil little and then using the Blue Pigment Ink stated to stencil it again on to the centre of the flowers on the stencil.

Finally to complete the look, I adhered the sentiment from the Craftangles Love Sentiment sheet using the 3D foam tape.

For my second card, I used the Craftangles Dual Textured White Cardstock, and affixed the Craftangles Flower Cluster Stencil. I then using the various pigment inks in pink, yellow and orange shade used to color the centre of the floeers while using the green colored the leaves between the flowers. And finally, in spaces that were left black, used some blue pigment ink to blend.

Finally completed the look by stamping big sentiments using the Black Dye Ink.

Third Card

For the third card I used the negatives of the stencil and to do so I used a panel from the watercolor paper and heavily wetted uing the spritzer. I then smooshed a lot of ink in pink, blue and purple on to the stencil and then put the watercolor paper on to the stencil. The reactive nature of the inks helped to create the faux watercolor look and created a beautiful , delicate and subtle background perfect to stamp large sentiments in black.
