3 quick cards using 1 new stamp set!

new stamp

Hello! Have you seen this gorgeous new stamp from Craftangles?

I had so much fun creating these 3 quick cards using one new stamp, in three different ways.

This months challenge over on the HNDMD blog is “Feminine” and these floral cards are very feminine!!!

monthly craft challenge - September 2020

For my first card, I had some Craftangles black glitter card stock, left over from another project. This cardstock is so beautiful…its really hard to capture in a photo.I felt it needed no other embellishment. I simply stamped the Craftangles new stamp ‘You’re in my thoughts’ in black on Craftangles dual textured white cardstock and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I did the same with the sentiment from the same stamp set.

You can see how it shines, here.

For the second card, I stamped the image on Craftangles cold pressed watercolour paper and watercoloured the image using Craftangles liquid watercolour lemon tart. I then fussy cut the image and adhered it to the white card base with 3D foam tape.

For the border, I used another scrap of black glitter cardstock. I used the Craftangles stitched scallops edge die to die cut the edge and create some interest.

I placed this along the base of the flowers and stamped a sentiment from the the new stamp set from Craftangles “You’re in my thoughts” to finish the card.

For the third card, I used a left over balck glitter card frame to start with. Once I placed the frame on a white card base, I splattered some balck paint on the background to create some interest.

I stamped the floral image from ‘You’re in my thoughts’ stamp set by Craftangles on Craftangles cold pressed watercolour paper. I coloured it with Craftangles ‘soulmate’ liquid watercolour and then fussy cut the image. I then adhered the image using 3D foam tape to the black splattered background.

I stamped a sentiment from the same set on piece of smooth white cardstock and punched it out. I adhered this with some double sided tape and added some jute string for interest.

I love how these three cards came together nicely with just one image.

I hope you enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed making them.
