Today I have an altered bottle for you.
To make it look really old I used the Rust Effect Texture Paste and Patina Effect Paste set from Craftangles.
With these sets it you can transform an ordinary object and turn it in to something special with a wonderful rusty look.
I used the Rusty Effect Texture Paste for my base, the bottle. Before putting the Charcoal Gesso on I wrapped my bottle in torn papers and added extra thread to keep the papers in place and some extra texture. The elements I adhered to the bottle became a coat of white gesso.
Why two colours, because the rust works best on the black and the patina on white. If you would like to know how I did this, I made a video of the process.
