3 Beautiful Simple Rainbow Cards 1

Today I am sharing three simple beautiful cards with you all incorporating the rainbow colours in different ways.

All three of my cards are A2 sized, i.e they measure 4.5 inches *5.5 inches.

For my first card I literally decided to make a rainbow. I used my circle nesting die and cut circle frames of various sizes (biggest to smallest) and arranged them size wise before cutting them all in halves to create semicircles. I then used my copic markers and colored them all in colors of the rainbow.

Next, I  adhered all the semicircles all on a double side adhesive sheet in rainbow order before attaching 2 cloud die cuts at the ends of the rainbow. After that , I took a plain cardstock used my cloud stencil and ink blended with them to give some dark colored clouds. I then used the girl image from the stamp set sweet love colored and fussy cut the image before adhering it on the cardstock.

I finally stamped the sentiment “you brighten my cloudy day “and added a few sequins and jewels.

For the second card , I decided to keep it really simple I stamped the girl image from the stamp set “” . The original image has the girl holding 3 balloons, I used the same image masked the girl with some washi tape and stamped the same image to get a total of 6 balloons in the girls hand and drew an extra one with a copic multiliner pen. I coloured all the seven balloons in rainbow colors. I used the circles stencils and ink blended some pale pink ink in the background. Finally, I stamped the sentiment “” and some sequins to complete the card.

For the third and final card , I used simple ink blending technique . I first stamped the sentiment from the 2*3 stamp set “Mom” and embossed it with golden embossing powder. After heat setting it the embossing , I went over the entire panel with red, yellow and blue inks in a rough pattern , the result is beautiful rainbow colored pattern on the card panel. I finally splattered some black ink and golden glitter on the card before adhering some jewels and sequins.
