Cards for Brother 2 – Swapna Patil

Namaste Craftangle crafters..
Swapna here, I again have Rakhsbandhan Cards for you all. In my last post also I shared few cards so if you missed then you can look at them here. You can used these stenciling techniques for any occasion cards.
Lets get into today’s cards..
Card 1

• I placed the stencil over a white panel and used distress inks to apply through it.
• After removing the stencil I used same colours and blended them again.
• I didn’t much attention on smooth blending as I was happy with uneven look.
• I also sprayed DIY shimmer mist on the panel. 
• I trimmed the panel and foam mounted on a green top folding card base.
• I added a small strip of black card stock to give contrast.
• Sentiment was white heat embossed and glued on the card.

Card 2

• I placed stencil and used distress inks again to apply colours.
• On another panel I coloured through another stencil selectively to get few flowers and leaves.
• I fussy cut the images. For flowers and leaves I used 2 colours.
• Before foam mounting the strip panel I trimmed it in one corner.
• Foam mounted flower and glued leaves.
• Sentiment strip was also tucked behind flower.
• At the end I sprayed Shimmer mist.

Card 3

• Its so awesome to know that may of Craftangle’s stencils can be used to layer.
• I used distress inks again in light green and light yellow.
• First I used green colour and applied colour through stencil, then I rotated stencil and applied another colour and it gave such cool look.
• I trimmed the panel and foam mounted on a green card base.
• Added sentiment on it.
