Happy New Year!
As you’ve seen from recent blog posts CraftTangles will now host a Monthly Challenge and the theme for the first of these is Anything Goes. You’ll find more information HERE.
I have decided to inspire you into entering by using the beautiful CrafTangles Countryside Paper Pad.
The paper pad has the most stunning designs and colours and I had to take all the papers out of the pad and look at them before I decided what to do. It was tough having to cut into them as they are just so pretty.
For my first card I used a paper from the pad as a base then stuck another paper on top. I added a die cut border, doily and a wooden sentiment that I’d had in my stash for some time.
For my next card, as the paper pad has one design that has smaller images I cut these out and mounted them onto dark brown card stock. I stamped ‘Thanks’ on one of the images and arranged them on another paper from the pad. Simple but effective don’t you agree?
For my final card I used a kraft blank as my background then added lilac cardstock, a sheet from the paper pad and I die cut an aperture to frame the paper I’d picked. It just goes to show you need so little to make these papers the stars of your projects. I’ve added a fussy cut image from the papers, some bakers twine and a stamped image to finish.
I hope you’ll join in with the Challenge as I can’t wait to see what you make!
