Experimenting with Foil

Swapna here with my experiments using our August release, foils. Craftangles introduced new foils, they are gorgeous. Visit shop to have a look at them.

When you order foils you will get templates to use with foils and laminator/foiling machine. I don’t own a laminator/foiling machine so I tried whatever supplies I have to foil. Today I am sharing two techniques of foiling which worked out for me.

Card 1

I stamped image n sentiment with copic friendly ink, coloured with copic markers. I masked image and stamped droplet image with versamark ink n applied sticky embossing powder, without heat setting it placed a blue foil on it. Placed this sandwich between tracing paper n applied heat from iron. After a few seconds a removed the foil.
Happy with the outcome.

Card 2

I secured the stencil over a red card stock. Applied translucent embossing paste through stencil, poured sticky embossing powder and left it dry. Placed the foil over it n covered it with tracing paper, applied heat from iron. After a few seconds removed it. Here is the card.

Will be trying few more options and if i get good results on foiling without laminator/foiling machine will share.
