Father’s day with foil.

Hello!
I have made some simple Father’s Day cards for you today,
using Craftangles foil, Craftangles stamps and stencils.
To start, I used the  Craftangles simply squares stencil with Tim Holtz ‘dusty concord’  distress ink, to create a background.

I then cut apart the sentiment from the
as shown below, so that I could stamp it using two colours.
Using two colours emphasises the word FATHER to make it stand out.

I then foiled a rectangular die cut panel using
Craftangles ‘turquoise’ foil so that the sentiment panel would pop!
To foil this panel, I used a sheet of black laser printer paper
which I ran through a a laminator along with the foil.
I then added a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp and added some sequins to finish the card.

For the second card, I used Tim Holtz Dusty Concord, Broken China and Black Soot distress inks to create a blended background.
I then stamped with my small versamark ink pad over the background and clear embossed it to create a rough background.
Once embossed, I used Craftangles silver foil to foil the background. Every place that was clear embossed picked up the foil.
I did the same for the sentiment too.
I placed the panel on a blue Craftangles card base and
finished the card by adding some black jute twine.

For the third card, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the
with silver embossing powder.
I then die cut a heart from the sheet black laser printed card stock and used the
I thought this sentiment needed minimum embellishment so I left this card as it was.
I rounded off the corners and added some clear bubble stones to finish.

I hope you will give foiling a try.
