Glitter Fairies!

Happy Weekend!

I hope you’re all enjoying the weekend and have some fun things planned.  My Saturdays are always taken up teaching but Sundays are my family day and I really look forward to them.

Fairies are really on trend at the moment and of course CrafTangles have brought out the cutest fairy stamp set.  Fairies can also be sparkly which meant I could could go all out with the glitter!

Glitter Fairies! 1

For my first card I coloured in the fairy with my chameleon pens and after fussy cutting her out I added a line of stickles to her dress and wings.  The background is actually shaded glitter paper from a pad given to me by a friend – don’t you just love crafty friends?!  I die cut the background with a very pretty die and added the fairy to the side.  I just added one of the sentiments from the set to finish.

Next up is a little fairy you may have seen before if you follow me on social media – she was the star of a FB and instagram post!  So I coloured her using my chameleon pens and colour tops and added stickles just to her wings this time. I’d love to have glitter wings wouldn’t you?!  I added a coloured and fussy cut mushroom from the same stamp set.  Glittery papers from the same pad as the first card and the addition of a sentiment I found in my stash.

My final card is the sparkliest of them all as I used a glitter backing paper for the clouds and a very pretty purple stars paper for the background.  My fairy was made in the same way as her previous friends although I changed the colours and added a different sentiment from the fairy stamp set.
