Happy Independance Day!

Hello!
Happy Independance Day!!

I have some fun and super easy rakhi cards for you to try today!
Rakshabandhan, the festival of sibling love is coming up soon and I thought it would be fun to incorporate our national colours with this festive ocassion.
For the first card, I used the ‘Lace reloaded ‘ stencil from Craftangles along with Tim Holtz ‘Carved pumpkin’ and ‘Mowed Lawn’ distress inks to create a pretty background.
I made a rakhi using an evil eye charm  and some white cord, and placed it in the centre of the background card panel.
I then adhered this panel to the white card base.
I adhered it to the inside card, using a bit of washi tape.
I stamped the sentiments..a combination of sentiments from Flora and Fauna stamps,
Winnie and Walter stamps and Craftangles Stamps (Happy Rakhshabandhan) to complete the card.
Super quick.
Here is a video showing you my process.

For the second card, I used the ‘Rays’  stencil from Craftangles along with Tim Holtz distress inks ‘Carved pumpkin’ and ‘Mowed lawn’.
I created a background like I did above, and used the evil eye charm rakhi as the centre.
This time I used a combination of sentiments from Lawn Fawn and
Craftangles (Happy Rakshabandhan and Happy Rakhi Bro)
Here is a process video for the same.

The third and final card is my favourite, I think.
I used the tricolour ( Tim Holtz ‘carved pumpkin’ , ‘mowed lawn’ and ‘chipped sappire’) and the ‘skyline’ stencil from Craftangles
to create a city skyline scene.
I added clouds using the nature stencil and Tim Holtz ‘broken china’ distress ink.
So many brothers and sisters are far away from each other at this time of the year, so,
the beautiful sentiment from Craftangles ‘Happy rakhi Bro’ stamp set
seemed most appropriate with this background.
I made a rakhi using a heartbeat charm..It seemed perfect with the whole card.
Here is the process video..Do try out this stencil.. I thought it was the most fun!
