HI Everyone,
Khyati here and today I wanted to share another video in my mixed media basics series. This is a series where we talk about the basics of mixed media as the name suggest and about some peculiar products in the market which are very different and may confuse the beginners.
Before we get in it I wanted to remind you all that there is a challenge going on CrafTangles / HNDMD blog and this month’s challenge is Masculine Projects. So do participate for a chance to win some goodies.

Introduction to Rust Effect Paste - Mixed Media Basics Ep 4 1

I really love mixed media art form and I feel these pastes that I will talking about today are perfect to make Masculine projects. I love the whole dark moody vibe these pastes add to the project.

So before I get into the video I highly suggest you check out previous videos as these are in conjunction with those and I have created videos in a particular order so as to I don’t repeat the same thing in all the videos. I will link down my previous videos Mixed Media Basics below for you guys.

So now that you know what the previous 3 episodes were all about lets dive in to the world of Vintage and Rust Effect Paste. Hands down this effect is my favorite of all the effect pastes available in CrafTangles world. I really love how moody dark and vintage the project becomes without a lot of effort by combining these pastes.

Below are some closeups for you all so you can see the texture I was talking about –
