Mermaid cards with distress oxides and craftangles stencils

Hello there,

This is Ujjwal here and I am so excited to be working with the fabulous Craftangles products this month. For today’s projects, I used the versatile “Nature” stencil and the cute “Mermaid Kisses” stamp set.

For all the cards, I used the distress oxides to create the beautiful backgrounds. The distress oxide colors I used are Cracked Pistachio, Faded Jeans and Broken China. The mermaids are colored using the Tombow Markers.

For this first card, I used the big waves on the stencil and used the different parts of the stencil to mask and create the wave pattern.

For the second card, I used the cloud pattern to create the beautiful sky.

For the third card, I used diluted distress oxide to create a watered background and then I lightly stenciled the small wave pattern to create a delicate look.
