Using patterned paper elements and 1 background to make 3 quick cards.

Hello! Today, I have used Craftangles patterned paper elements and 1 background to make 3 quick cards.

In these days of lockdown, it’s hard to find creative inspiration and I’ve been struggling with my MOJO!
So I decided to play with Craftangles patterned paper element packs and Craftangles stencils.

As we are locked down in these difficult times, I’m sure, there are things we crave.

I know I miss receiving packages..especially new craft supplies to play with!

So I used this sentiment to show how much I miss my packages!! ;D

I created the background using Craftangles ‘Nature’ stencil and added some birds for interest in the same colour as the background.

I then adhered printed elements cut out from the Craftangles ‘Watercolour love 1’ patterned paper element pack and sentiment from Craftangles ‘Love sentiment’ sheets’.

I made this card a larger one than A2 as I wanted to create a feeling of space.

For the second card, I once again created the background using Craftangles ‘Nature stencil’ and the birds stamp from Hero Arts.

I LOVE to travel and this lockdown is further upsetting because I know that I will not be able to travel for a while yet!

Hence the plane!

Thinking of my travels and memories of past holidays sure make me smile in this difficult time!

I’ve used printed elements from the Craftangles ‘Wanderlust 1’ patterned paper element pack and sentiments from the ‘Love sentiments’ sheets.

My third card, looks traditionally valentine-y..but its not! How many of you are loving being cooped up in the house with your loved ones? Forced lockdown puts even the strongest relationships under strain! Hence, the sentiment..’Home is not a place, its you’…right now we would much rather go OUT of the home no?!!

Here, again, I created a background using the Craftangles ‘nature’ stencil and some birds.

I then cut out the heart from the Craftangles patterned paper element pack ‘Watercolour love 1’ and used the sentiment from the Craftangles ‘Love sentiment’ sheets.
