Upcycled Pen Holder

Hello everyone,
Ranjitha here. Hope everyone is doing great. I am back today with some transfer it crafty inspiration i.e. an upcycled pen holder. Before I move ahead with today’s project let me remind you, the theme for our Monthly Challenge is ” Birthday/ Confetti / Sparkle ” Don’t forget to play along, it would be fun to see you join the challenge.

CrafTangles Monthly Challenge July 2021

As an inspiration for the monthly challenge, in today’s post I am sharing with you a simple project that even kids would love to make either for themselves or as gifts for their loved ones. These are quick and easy to make. Thanks to the Transfer it sheets , they make the job much easier.

Here is the glimpse of my upcycled pen holder:

For today’s project I started with a wooden pen holder and coated it generously with a layer of gesso and then a coat or two of white acrylic paint.

Then I transferred my favorite image and a quote on to it. I added a hint of colour and then added a little sparkle to the project by adding some gilding flakes.
