Coming back to my tutorial for those of you who don’t know die cutting, is where we cut our papers using some metal dies. So gone are the days when we used to cut everything by hand now we have machines and products that do that for us making our lives so easy. Now that you know what is die cutting, let me elaborate on what is Negative die cuts.

Same as any positive and negative part whenever you will cut a design out of paper you will have 2 things –

  1. the actual design
  2. the remaining part from which the design was cut or rather the negative of the design.

So in my last tutorial I showed you how to use the part 1 i.e the actual die-cut and in today’s tutorial, I am going to show you how to use the part 2 i.e the negative part of the die-cut. Those ways you can still use both the parts and have zero wastage and make completely different looking cards using essentially the same thing.

So let’s get in to the video tutorial of how to use negative die cuts –
