Hi Guys,

I have not used any patterned papers for this project as generally I goof up with the combination of the colors and patterns and the end result is not what I have had in mind initially. So I played it safe here and made my own papers using Cardstock, distress inks, stamps and embellishments.
I had a clear thought of the colors that I wanted to use which was to match with the ones in the pic to keep everything together. If you are beginner I would suggest play with 3 4 colors in you layout instead of many to keep the entire project together. I have added quiet a few layers of papers and every time have kept the colors same as the ones in pic.
For the second layer I added some interest to the background by creating the punched effect and on the third layer I created the effect by splattering some water on the distressed paper. Then I have colored some scrap paper and stuck it to add some layers and depth to the project. At this point I realized my layout was too dark as it contained only blues and greys. Hence I decided to add some contrast and color by adding white to the project. Hence I have added some texture paste using stencils and used some clay molds as is without coloring it. Then I felt a need to add some black just to bring everything together hence added some black stenciled areas and black stamping. I have also added some splatter of pear white fevicryl paint to add some randomness.
Finally I have used chipboard alphabets and embossed them with silver embossing powder and stuck it to the layout.
