Beautiful 3 Floral Blue Monochrome Cards

Namaste Crafty Folks,

Today I am sharing three monochrome cards. It is already hot and humid in my part of the world and the only colour that seems to be soothing is blue. The beautiful blue colour of the skies and the cold and calm colour of the water in the lakes and thus I created these 3 floral blue cards for our monthly challenge.

First Monochrome Card

I used the Craftangles Dual texture White Cardstock to make the base panel by trimming it in the size 4.25×5.5 inches. I then trimmed strips of blue cardstocks by Craftangles – sky blue, cobalt blue and navy blue in the size .25×4.25 inches, qty 2 each. I then adhered it to the white panel using the liquid adhesive.

I then stamped the flower image and the sentiments from the Craftangles Celebrate You stamp set using the black dye ink. To complete the look I mounted this panel on to the side folding note card created using the Craftangles Navy Blue Cardstock.

I used the Craftangles Dual texture White Cardstock to make the base panel by trimming it in the size 4.25×5.5 inches. I used the rectangle masking stencil and the braid pattern stencil by Craftangles to stencil using the Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I then stamped the flowers from the Hello Lovely Stamp Set by Craftangles using the Black Dye Ink and then colored using the blue alcohol markers. I then fussy cut the images and stuck over the base panel using the 3D foam tae.

I stamped the sentiments from the same stamp set. To complete the look I mounted this panel on to the side folding note card created using the Craftangles Sky Blue Cardstock.

To create this card embossed on the leaves on to the vellum paper panel measuring 3×5 inches from the Craftangles Delicate Flowers Stamp Set leaves and heat set using the white embossing powder. I then ink blended some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and then stamped the flowers and fussy cut then. I adhered the panel and the flowers using the 3D foam tape on to the Cobalt Blue Cardstock by Craftangles and completed the look by stamping sentiments in the Black Dye Ink from the same stamp set.
