As we are just entering the new year , we would always want to have a bunch of birthday cards ready to gift to our loved ones. So, today, I am here with some simple Zodiac themed card ideas for you.
Before going ahead with today’s post I would like to remind you that, the theme for our Monthly Challenge is “Celebrate Love”. It would be fun to see you join the challenge.

For today’s cards I am using the small stamps from Craftangles called”horoscopes”. These are very uniquely designed stamps which can be used in many ways. When I look at these stamps, they remind me of Mosaic and Stained Glass paintings. So, having this as my inspiration I am going to show you some cards.

For the first card, I cut out a watercolour paper slightly smaller than my A2 card base and I have gold heat embossed my image on to it. Then I am smooching some distress oxides inks on my work surface, spritzing it with some water and then smooched my entire card panel on to this. This gave a beautiful watercolour background . On to this I am adding a gold heat embossed sentiment. I then finished off my card by mounting this onto an A2 sized white card base.

For the second card, I wanted to give a stained glass look to my card. So, I stamped my image onto clear plastic and then coloured it using my alcohol markers. I cut out a window on a blue card and adhered my clear plastic sheet behind this blue panel such that the stamped image was centered behind the window. I then mounted this entire panel on to a top folding A2 card base and then finished it by adding a white heat embossed sentiment.

For the last card, I started with an A2 card base and then masked a horizontal band on the front. On this I blended some distress oxides ink through a craftangles stencil. I stamped fishes on watercolour paper and then coloured them with some watercolours. Added these stamped fishes on the front panel with foam adhesive and finished it by stamping a sentiment.
