Hello Crafty peeps,
I am SathyaKala here today from Paperie
Expressions
. Many Thanks to Khyati and Team for this awesome
opportunity and the GDT Kit. I thoroughly enjoyed making a Mixed Media canvas
for you today using the lovely products. Hope you like as much as I love making
it!

Procedure for the Mixed Media Canvas:
·      
Took 8×10” canvas and prepped
it with white gesso.
·      
Applied water diagonally over
the canvas and added the Craftangles artSprays : Electric pink, Victorian pink and carbon black at intervals after
the layers are dried completely.
·      
Then applied Craftangles: PaperTexture paste through
a stencil over the misted areas.
·      
Once completely dried, took Craftangles : Old Newspaper stampset
and using light grey ink, stamped around the textured areas to create further
visual interest.
·      
Splattered diluted inks over
the desired surface.

·      
Few florals are picked from
Designer papers and fussy cut it.
·      
Floral bouquet as chosen focal
point were then matted with designer paper and border chipboard.
·      
Its then arranged on to the
canvas with fussy cut florals, florals, tinted cheesecloth and various other
embellishments.
·      
Cardstock is misted with Victorian pink art spray and diecut
using Leaf dies, and then added to the collage.
·      
Sentiment stamped onto a tissue
paper and stuck carefully onto the canvas using Gel medium.
·      
Quote sticker is matted to a kraft
cs and added near to the floral spray.
·      
Few more stamping done using
black archival ink around the floral clusters.
·      
Liberally white gesso and art
sprays are splattered finally.
·      
Few pink enamel dots are added
as final touches.
