Retreat – Mixed Media Project

A Mixed Media project by Monalisa Dutta

Hello everyone,
Monalisa here and I am sharing another mixed media tutorial. I hope you all are doing great. Before going ahead with the tutorial, do not forget to participate in our monthly challenge. The current month’s theme is ‘Vintage or Shabby Chic’. There are lots of inspiration projects to help you out.

Monthly Challenge May 2021

Today, I am presenting the tutorial of creating this altered canvas. ‘Life & Death’ is the quote of this work. I used this phrase due to the current situation of pandemic where everyone is suffering either from ailments or from isolation. Life is tough when isolated and lost dynamism.
There is no scope to go out even to the mother nature for rejuvenation. The purpose is altogether trying to avoid the stare of disease and death.
