Seems Love is still in the air :)

Well guys it seems I still have some Valentine cards which I need to post.. so once again show casing my another Valentine card.. This time I wanted to try a different type of card and after going through splitcoaststampers site I came across a Criss  Cross Card Tutorial.. I knew I had to make this one and here is my take on the same –

The material used in making of this card is quiet similar to my previous card.. For the base of the card I have used bronze paper which is actually a left over from some old wedding invitations I had collected.. The golden paper is again some left overs from wedding invitation card and I have punched it using Ek Success punch..The sentiment stamp (A special day) is from Lily of the Valley.. The gold and brown ribbon are from stash.. The small key near the know is actually from clay using mold.. I have stamped the white paper and the sentiment with golden Brilliance ink pad.. I have also used a lot of ribbons to be used to remove the inserts from the card.. I have used white ribbon along with some of the others from my stash.. Some more pics from different angles

I have used Frayed Burlap Stickle on the key.. Now to the inserts –

Here is the 2 inserts which I made.. The first one contains another cutie from Liily of The Valley Stamps.. I have colored her using distress makers.. Some of the colors used are Frayed Burlap, Scattered Straw Worn Lipstick etc .. I have alose used rock candy stickles on the flowers and dress.. To add some of the background I have used some Micia and some recollections stamps.. I have stamped it using Brilliance pigment inks – Gold and Bronze ..The other insert is left empty to add the message ..

I have specifically added the last image so you guys can see the shimmer of the Brilliance inks.. They add such a sparkle to the card..

What a lovely fold card Khyati!…I love the way you have stamped the image & colored it….You have done it so beautifully…The Brilliance ink really does give a lovely shimmer…I thought for a moment that you have used Gold embossing powder..Its that good! 🙂
